Huntingdon Boat Club attended Evesham weekend regatta, with eight crews racing on the Saturday and 10 crews on the Sunday.
The club won six events, three on each day. The winning crews on the Saturday was Edward Adams at Masters b single scull, Joe Manchett and Tom Starling Open double sculls getting the win over another Huntingdon crew Dan Fazackerley and James Roach, Daniel Grant and Tom Hancock J14 double sculls.
Others racing on the day were Toby Ray in open single and open coxless quad with Tom Starling, Dan Fazackerley and James Roach. Ross O’Kane raced J16 single scull.
On Sunday there were wins from Daniel Grant in J14 single sculls and then teaming up with Tom Hancock to win the J14 double sculls against Stourport. Edward Adams won open singles against Evesham.
Ray and O’Kane won their first rounds in singles sculls, but narrowly missed out in the semi-finals.
Joe Manchett and Tom Starling making it into the final of open double sculls losing to Notts and Union, Manchett then raced in J18 single scull losing out by one foot.
Roach/Fazackerley also rowed in open double scull, then losing out in the final of open coxless fours with Toby Ray and Tom Starling by one length.
