Performers from seven local dance schools in Huntingdonshire took part in a gala held at the Performing Arts Centre at Hinchingbrooke.
The event has been a regular fixture in the dance calendar for more than 25 years and aims to showcasing local young talent and raise money for good causes.
This year’s performance took place on January 21 and the dance schools taking part were: BRiLL Performing Arts, Generations Dance Academy, Stageworks Studios, All Stars performing Arts, Linda Allen Dance, Theatre Artz and the Gail Burgess School of Ballet.
Dancers this year were also invited to take part in masterclasses held by West End leading dancer Gary Watson. Gary also performed a song from Jersey Boys.
The chosen charity to benefit from the gala is The Teenage Cancer Trust, which will receive just over £4000.
The gala was set up in 1997 by the late Judy Ashley and is organised by Laura Hodson and Bethanie Allister of BRiLL Performing Arts and Judy’s dance teacher daughters Charlie Ashley-Burnett and Lucie Ashley.
