St Neots & District Indoor Bowling Club have become national champions after an impressive win at the Yetton Trophy Final.

The club beat Dolphin Indoor Bowling Club 77 shots to 65 on April 13.

St Neots took a strong lead against the tough Dolphin side, which included the current National Over-60’s Singles Champion.

They managed to maintain this lead across the four rinks until Dolphin conceded the game with two ends to spare.

Their campaign started in October when they faced teams including current England internationals, national champions, and the current World Ladies Singles Champion.

St Neots are no stranger to success, previously winning the title in 2017.

This year’s team included Michelle Coleman, Rachel Tremlett and Rebecca Moorbey who are all current England internationals.

Rebecca, who is also the 2024 World U25 Singles Runner Up said: “It’s a great achievement to win this title again, I am so proud to have captained this amazing team of ladies and would thank all the supporters who have supported us along the way.”
