Long-term roadworks on the A14 near Huntingdon are due to move into a second phase next week, with more closures planned.
Highways England has been resurfacing a two-mile stretch between the Spittals Interchange and Alconbury.
Work on the northbound carriageway is due to be finished by Monday (July 6) and from Wednesday, July 8, work will start on the southbound side.
Resurfacing will take place overnight and the carriageway will be closed from 8pm to 6am for about four weeks.
Traffic will be diverted from the A1(M) at junction 14 along the A1 southbound to A1/A14 Brampton Hut Interchange and join the eastbound A14 to junction 23 Spittals Interchange.
