Fifteen firefighters were sent to tackle a blaze in Offord Cluny yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
They were called to Station Lane at about 2pm after a large metal container filled with wooden furniture caught fire.
Crews from St Neots, Gamlingay and Huntingdon attended and put out the fire wearing breathing apparatus. They were there for nearly three hours.
A spokesman for Cambridge Fire and Rescue Service said the cause was accidental.
