A body of a woman has been found close to the rowing club on the River Great Ouse at St Neots.
The East of England Ambulance Service were called to Priory Lane at 11.24am yesterday (Sunday), and sent a hazardous area response team, a first community responder,a paramedic officer and an ambulance. The East Anglian Air Ambulance also attended.
A spokesman said that crews worked to try and revive her as she was unconscious. She was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital by land ambulance, however she later died.
A police spokesman said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been passed to the coroner.”
