A GODMANCHESTER driver was fined for crashing into a car and then driving off.
Chianne Mitten, of Holmehill, was parking her Rover MG at Sainsbury’s car park in Huntingdon when she hit a Vauxhall Corsa at around 4pm on June 15, causing cosmetic damage to the rear bumper.
The 22-year-old carer “panicked” and drove off without leaving her details, but a member of the public noted her car’s registration number and gave it to the driver of the Corsa.
At Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (September 6) Mitten admitted driving without due care and attention and failing to stop.
The mother-of-one was given five points on her licence and fined 185.
