For all those who love an action packed whodunnit then this might be the ideal book for you.
A journalist joins a once-in-a-lifetime climbing expedition, but as thefts, accidents and ominous notes begin to mount up, the danger seems to lie within the group.
Cecily Wong is joining a group to climb one of the world's tallest mountains but things do not go smoothly.
When Cecily finds a dead body she realises the murderer is one of her companions on the climb, someone who is meant to be helping to keep the group safe.
Who can she trust? Who is the killer?
This is a very well written and pacy thriller. Amy McCulloch allows the anticipation and dread to grow with each chapter, her descriptions of mountain life are incredible and the isolation that would come from being atop a mountain is perfectly pitched.
Well worth a read and certainly would probably put most people off of going on a climbing trip.
