Housing developers Barratt and David Wilson Homes are remembering the country’s fallen heroes this Remembrance Day by placing poppies at its developments in Wintringham, St Neots.
The housebuilder has attached large poppies to the lampposts at Wintringham to mark the annual tribute to all those who lost their lives during the wars.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to walk past the poppies and reflect on those who served in conflicts across the world ahead of Remembrance Day on Friday, November 11.
Simon Francis, Managing Director at Barratt and David Wilson Homes Northampton, said: “We have decorated Wintringham with poppies to honour the occasion as a tribute to all those who lost their lives in conflict.
“During this time of remembrance, we’re encouraging residents of Cambridgeshire to take in the poppies onsite when walking by and take a moment of quiet reflection.”
In 2021, Barratt and David Wilson Homes showed its support for the Royal British Legion by installing Tommy Club figures as part of VE Day.
