This puts Jake in an “elite group of Huntingdon Gymnasts” who have represented the club at every Commonwealth games for the past 28 years dating back to the 1994 Games in Victoria, British Columbia.
Fellow gymnast Niall Hooton represented the club at the Junior European Championships and Youth Olympic Games in the summer, top scoring for his team in all seven competitions in the German Bundesliga Competition league system.
The recent U14 and below National Finals saw nine Huntingdon gymnasts qualify to represent the Eastern Counties, with eight coming away with medals.
The Women’s Artistic programme continues with strength as three gymnasts qualify for National finals, three Regional champions and 20 regional medals, 20 County Champions and 80 county medals.
