Volunteers at a Covid vaccination centre have been honoured for their efforts during the pandemic with a fitting tribute.
St Neots Museum received a collage, created by nurse Tracey Wills who has been working at the Eaton Socon Vaccination Centre and wanted to keep a record of the team who worked there.
The heart-shaped collage is created from empty vaccination vials and used syringe cases, with photographs of all workers and volunteers at the centre forming the background.
Liz Davies, curator at St Neots Museum, said: “[This] loan is a fabulous tribute to the nurses and volunteers who have been running the Eaton Socon centre for the last two years.
“The collage will help the museum to tell the story of the Covid pandemic in years to come and we hope to eventually make it part of our permanent collection.”
Visitors can see the collage, due to be on display for several months, in St Neots Museum’s reception and shop.
