A national carpet and flooring chain is to close its St Neots branch.
Carpetright has confirmed it will close its store at the Colmworth Trade Centre, in Eaton Socon, at the end of the month.
A spokesperson for the company stated it is an isolated closure and customers can continue using the Bedford and Huntingdon branches.
“There are no further closures planned for Carpetright in any location,” he said, adding that staff at St Neots are being offered alternative positions.
Meanwhile, there is a ‘Closing Down Sale’ on stock items at the St Neots branch which will close its doors for the final time on January 28.
Anything that needs to be ordered in will remain at full price.
Customers are being assured all orders made at St Neots will be fulfilled and not affected by the closure.
