The trust that runs Hinchingbrooke and Peterborough City hospitals has appointed a new senior executive.
Michelle Cady will join the Chief Operating Officer at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAngliaFT ) on April 1.
She is currently the director of strategy and planning at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Michelle said: “I am delighted to be joining NWAngliaFT and meeting the teams who are working hard in challenging circumstances.
“Both patient and staff experience is something I feel passionately about, and I am looking forward to supporting the work that improves this.”
Michelle began her career in Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps before joining the NHS and working in a range of acute clinical and leadership roles.
At Hull, she has worked as an operations director and deputy chief operating officer before stepping into her current role since January 2021.
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust also runs Stamford hospital, and the new role will see her take responsibility for the operational activities over all three hospitals.
