Woodgreen Animal Centre is hoping the people of Cambridgeshire will be able to help them in finding some of their long-term dog residents their forever homes.
Rehoming pets can be a truly rewarding experience for both the pet and the adopter.
Woodgreen, which is based in Godmanchester, is committed to finding loving homes for all their pets in their care, including those who have been at the centre for a long period of time.
A spokesperson said: “Despite their past, these pets are still full of love and potential, and with the right individual or family, they will be able to thrive and bring joy to their new surroundings.”
Here are a few of Woodgreen’s long-term residents who are currently looking for a loving home:
Lady, 6
Lady is a beautiful crossbreed who is currently available for adoption.
She is a social dog who loves to be around people and would make a great addition to any family looking for a dog that is lively and very affectionate.
Luna, 2
Luna is a French Bulldog who came into Woodgreen as a stray last summer.
Her favourite three things are walks, cuddling, and most importantly, snacks which she’ll never say no to if offered.
Blue, 10
Sweet girl Blue is longing for a new home after being placed in the care of Woodgreen through no fault of her own.
She loves to chat, can be vocal if she requests something, usually snacks, and makes the cutest noises.
Charlie, 3
Charlie was admitted to Woodgreen in May 2022. Due to complications, he came to Woodgreen with an amputated leg, but this hasn’t stopped him from being active.
He loves to socialise with other dogs and would benefit from being rehomed with one.
Dante, 6
Dante is an energetic and playful terrier who enjoys exploring on walks, playing fetch and snacking.
The ideal family for Dante would be active and able to keep up with his energy levels.
