The people of Huntingdon had their pans at the ready and served up a day of flipping fun as they flipped their way around the town centre for the annual Pancake Day Flipathon.
More than a hundred people gathered on Shrove Tuesday (February 21) to celebrate the Pancake Day traditions by racing around the Market Square and tucking into some prizes.
Huntingdon Town Council organised the event and kicked off the day's proceedings with the famous 'Chain Gang' race.

The mayor of Huntingdon, Cllr David Landon Cole, mayor of St Neots, Cllr Ben Pitt, mayor of Godmanchester, Cllr Dick Taplin, deputy mayor of St Ives, Cllr Nic Wells, chair of Cambridgeshire County Council, Cllr Stephen Ferguson and vice-chair of Huntingdonshire District Council, Cllr Steve McAdam, all took part.
Cllr Taplin raced away and stylishly flipped his way to victory, picking up the inaugural golden frying pan, which will be passed onto future victors of the 'Chain Gang' race.
Proud to have upheld the honour of Cambridgeshire by finishing second in the Huntingdon Pancake Tossathon this morning, behind worthy winner Mayor Dick Taplin of Godmanchester. I dipped Mayor Ben Pitt on the line. pic.twitter.com/WlHZexbWO9

Cllr Taplin said: "I'm not sure I'll be able to cook with it!
He added: "It was a great event and great to see the children, and of course, the various charities too."
More than 60 children from Stukeley Meadows took part in the racing fun alongside children from Spring Common Academy, cheering one another on.
BID Huntingdon, Shopmobility, the Women's Institute, MIND, and the British Heart Foundation also got involved with races.
Cllr Landon Cole said: "It's been a super day; it's loads of fun.
"You can hear there are loads of kids having fun and enjoying themselves, and it was really nice that lots of other mayors and chairs came in support of the first race, what we're calling the 'Mayor of Huntingdon classic'.
"It's nice to be out and having a fun community event."
The pancakes and chocolate egg prizes were all donated free of charge by Tesco to ensure all the children could flip away and go home as winners.
