A man has suffered serious injuries following a crash on the A1307 near Hemingford Abbots.
Cambridgeshire Police were called to the incident at 6.50am on Friday, March 10, with reports that a car had crashed into the central reservation and left the road.
Fire crews from Huntingdon, Cambourne and Cambridge arrived to find a car on the roadside verge near a ditch.
Using specialist equipment, they released a male casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews and taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Police said: "His injuries were serious, but not life-threatening.
"No other vehicles are believed to have been involved."

Fire crews were also called to another crash on the A1307 near Hemingford Abbots at 6.25am on Tuesday, March 14.
Firefighters assisted one casualty from a vehicle that had entered a ditch.
A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said that crews believe the recent incidents to be from aquaplaning due to the recent wet weather.
The spokesperson added: "Drivers are urged to be vigilant when driving during wet weather.
"It's really important that people adapt their driving to the weather conditions and reduce their speed accordingly to reduce the risk of being involved in a collision."
