Primary school children across the district have participated in the Hunts School Sports Partnership's (HSSP) and Huntingdonshire FA's special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) football festival.
The festival was aimed at children aged between seven and 11 and looked to provide those who would not usually have the opportunity to represent their school football team the chance to pull on the school jersey.
The event was held at St Neots Town Football Club and was supported by Year 9 sports Leaders from Longsands Academy in St Neots, who led fun activities for the children throughout the event, as well as refereeing friendly matches between schools.
Doug Finlayson, partnership manager at the HSSP, said: "It was fantastic to see children at the festival who we would not usually see represent their school.
"Thank you to Ryan Kay from The Hunts FA and our Year 9 Sports Leaders from Longsands Academy, who helped make the event a big success.
"We look forward to the return of the festival next year and growing on the success from the past two years."
