A spate of post box thefts across Huntingdonshire and East Cambridgeshire are believed to be linked.
Over the past few weeks, police said that thefts were recorded in Ramsey, Huntingdon, Old Hurst, Wistow, Ely, Aldreth, Wilburton and Haddenham.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We have seen a number of post box thefts over the past week or so across the county.
"All of the crimes reported have been linked and are being looked at as an emerging series.
"We urge members of the public to report any suspicious activity around post boxes to us.
"We’ll be looking out for anyone acting suspicious around post boxes and we ask that you do too. If you see a crime taking place, call 999.
