A set of summer canopies are on display in Huntingdon's town centre, helping to lighten and liven up the town.
The canopies were installed this week at Chequers Court and St Germain Walk via a grant-funded project called 'Vibrant Communities', aimed at making towns and large villages become more vibrant places.
The grant came from Huntingdonshire District Council, and the canopies were commissioned by Huntingdon Town Council and Huntingdon First.
A spokesperson for Huntingdon First on Facebook said: "These eco-friendly summer canopies are a brilliant addition to our town centre.
"Let's celebrate the greatness of our town and love Huntingdon!"
The designs were made by Blachere Illumination UK and feature a mixture of florals, foliage and butterflies to create two striking summer features for the town centre.

The canopies are an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic bunting, made from bio-sourced GMO-free sugar cane, which is turned into dehydrated bioethanol.
The material is dyed and injected into a 3D printer to produce colourful, biodegradable and recyclable structures that can be used for many years to come.

The canopies will be on display until Autumn 2023 and will be stored for use again during future summer seasons.
