Summer salads, smoothies and sundaes are just some of the new food and drink offerings coming to a popular tea room in Somersham.
Alex Sarilmaz, owner of St Ives Turkish restaurant Vadi Kitchen, took the helm of Hollies Tea Room at Parkhall Garden Centre on Monday.
He said: "I am very excited about taking over Hollies.
"It's in a lovely rural location, with a strong customer base and I intend to gradually introduce a wider range of food.

"This includes light breakfasts, avocado, scrambled and poached eggs on toast, omelettes, jacket potatoes and summer salads.
"We will also have more gluten free and vegan options, a wider selection of cakes and sweets as well.
"And we will be introducing a selection of deserts and whipped ice cream sundaes and smoothies."
