Some St Ives postcodes could experience delays in receiving their Royal Mail deliveries due to ‘resourcing issues’.
Residents have been updated by Royal Mail of disruption to their services across the region, particularly to the PE27 and PE28 postcodes within the next few days.
The postal company has apologised to customers for the inconvenience, adding that "high levels of sick absence, resourcing, and other local factors have been a contribution to this issue".
Some residents have taken to social media in a bid to vent their frustration regarding the problem, with a few even suggesting 'they haven’t received any mail for days’.
Royal Mail said it will keep residents updated on the ongoing resourcing issues.
Meanwhile, customers who need to collect an item for which a 'Something for You' card has been left, can find more information here including collection points and opening hours.
