Figures have revealed the worst and best-rated GP surgeries in Huntingdonshire, according to the patients who use them.
The results of NHS England's annual GP Patient Survey for 2023 highlighted whether patients were happy with their surgeries after completing a questionnaire.
The survey measured patients' experiences by asking questions on a range of topics, including experience of making appointments, ease of getting through the phone and confidence in the healthcare professional.
Look at the full range of patient satisfaction results across the district below.
Of the 19 GP practices in Huntingdonshire, Great Staughton Surgery near St Neots was named the best in the district, with an overall approval rating of 98 per cent.
Great Staughton Surgery was one of four surgeries to achieve a rating of 90 per cent or higher, also including Kimbolton Medical Centre, Alconbury Surgery and Moat House Surgery in Warboys.
In fact, GP surgeries across Huntingdonshire had a higher average overall satisfaction approval rating than the national average, with a score of 78 per cent compared to the 71 per cent rating taken from more than 6,000 surgeries across the country.
The national approval rating across England for 2023 marked a fall from 72 per cent last year and the lowest score since the GP Patients Survey began in 2017.
At the other end of the spectrum, Lakeside Health St Neots received the lowest overall satisfaction rating among patients, scoring 43 per cent.
Lakeside Health St Neots, also known as Cedar House Surgery, was the only practice not to achieve a satisfaction rate higher than 50 per cent.
The next lowest-rated GP surgery was the Riverport Medical Practice in St Ives, with 60 per cent of patients answering that they were satisfied with the service at the practice.
In total, six surgeries in the district fell below the national mark of 71 per cent.
Included in the six were Grove Medical Practice, Priory Fields Surgery, Acorn Surgery and St Neots Health Centre.
NHS England highlighted though that only a handful of patients completed the survey at some practices, so the figures may not reflect an entirely accurate picture of each surgery's performance.
