We asked our readers where in Huntingdonshire they believed serves the best afternoon tea.
There are lots of great places serving afternoon tea in the area, so we got those who know best to tell us who deserved to be a winner in their eyes and why they believed their chosen place was worthy of this accolade.
Readers voted by commenting under the relevant social media posts, and the votes ran into the hundreds!
So, here are the winners!
- First place – The Willows, Brampton
- Second place – Nuts Bistro, St Ives
- Third place – Carriage’s of Cambridge, Fen Drayton
- Fourth place – Olive's, Somersham
After letting our first place winners The Willows know they'd come out top, they were really happy with the "lovely news".
When letting Nuts Bistro know they'd achieved second place, they said the news has "made their day".
We will be talking to the top three places in the coming weeks to find out just why their afternoon tea has been voted as one of the best in the area by readers, as well as bringing you the background stories on each of the venues.
