Three people have been charged with assault after Police responded to reports of violence in a Huntingdonshire Town.

Police were called to reports of violence at around 5.45pm on Monday (August 7), and three people have been charged with assault by beating.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "A man in his fifties received injuries including cuts and bruises."

Terry Dymoke, 33, of no fixed address, and Ashley Williams, 38, of Burgess Walk, St Ives, were arrested after their involvement in the incident with the victim.

Both pleaded guilty to assault by beating at Peterborough Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 9, and are due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates Court on August 17 for sentencing.

Emma Coppolaro, 44, of Langley Close, St Ives, was arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident involving another woman.

Coppolaro also appeared in Peterborough Magistrates Court on August 9 but pleaded not guilty.

She is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates Court on August 17 for a further case management hearing.

All three have been remanded on conditional bail until their hearings.

Police added that a 37-year-old man from Fenstanton was also arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until November 7.
