The following cases have come before the courts in Cambridgeshire this month.
They include: a man who robbed a bookmakers; a rogue trader who persistently targeted elderly victims; a drug dealer said to be a "key cog" in organised crime and a man jailed for brandishing knives in the street.
Man threatened staff before demanding cash
David Edge, of Grenfell Road, Ramsey, took a large kitchen knife to a betting shop in Little Whyte, Ramsey, on June 29.
Once inside he demanded staff hand over cash from the till drawers before threatening staff to locate and open the safe.

Rogue trader preyed on the elderly
A "heartless" rogue trader who persistently targeted elderly people across Cambridgeshire has been jailed.
Darren Moore, 57, was given a criminal behaviour order in 2016 after repeatedly defrauding vulnerable people, but continued with his criminal behaviour.
Among other things, the order banned Moore from 'cold calling' or undertaking any work for people over the age of 65, however, he repeatedly breached it.

Man who kept drugs on boat was "key cog" in organised crime
A Huntingdon drug dealer who stocked cocaine worth nearly half a million pounds on a boat has been jailed for eight years.
Ben Cunningham, 49, of Wyton Moorings, Banks End, was found to be a "key cog" within an organised crime group (OCG), buying and selling drugs, particlualry cocaine on a commercial scale across the UK.
Jail for man who made threats while branishing knives
A man has been jailed after running at another man with two knives while threatening to kill him.
Billy Parlour, 32, was seen fighting with the man in Saffron Close, Littleport, at about 2pm on May 6. He ran at the victim with a knife in each hand while threatening to kill him.

Driver with worn tyres lost control and hit men out running
A motorist left two men with life-changing injuries after her severely worn tyres caused her to lose control of her vehicle.
Sophie Glindon, 32, was leaving the A1 northbound at the Carpenters Lodge slip road, heading into Stamford, on 30 December, 2021, when she lost control of her Peugeot 206.
The car ploughed into two pedestrians on the pavement who were out running.

Burglar stole items which had sentimental value
A burglar who broke into two properties and a shed, stealing alcohol and jewellery, has been jailed.
Nathan Fountain, 44, broke into a house in Werrington, Peterborough, on July 8.
He smashed the lock off the shed and took bottles of alcohol, including prosecco and Champagne, and used a brick to smash a kitchen window.
Police were called and scenes-of-crime officers discovered fingerprints on some bottles of alcohol, which had been left by the gate.
