A 19-year-old from St Neots who attempted to evade police officers by jumping into the River Great Ouse has been charged with drug offences.

Officers tried to stop the teen at around 12.40pm on Monday, August 21, because they said they could smell cannabis.

The teen then fled and jumped into the river before he realised there was nowhere to go, and eventually made his way out where officers were waiting for him.
