A man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving after a crash on the Huntingdon ring road, which left a police officer hospitalised.
Cambridgeshire Police were called at 2.44pm yesterday (Tuesday, August 29) to reports of the two-vehicle collision in Walden Road.
Paramedics also attended the scene and took the policeman, who was on duty, to hospital whilst the other man was arrested.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "A 34-year-old man from Hertfordshire was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs.
"He has since been bailed to appear at Thorpe Wood police station on November 29."
