The much-anticipated Coneygear Community Day returns this weekend with a fun-filled extravaganza for the people of Huntingdon and beyond.
A day of excitement and community spirit is predicted when the event makes its triumphant return to Coneygear Park on Saturday, September 2.
The Coneygear Community Day has become a cherished annual tradition, bringing together families, friends, and neighbours together for a day of festivities and connections.
Shilpa Desai-Sakaldip, the Coneygear centre manager, said: "We can't wait to welcome the community to our annual event.
"Last year's event was great; this year's event promises to be even better! There will be fun for everyone and lots to see and do.
"Our focus is ensuring that local families can enjoy a fun-filled day without having to spend lots of money.

"Due to the fantastic support received from various groups, everything on the day will be free apart from food and drink.
"Because Diamond Hampers will be selling the food and drink, they share the same ethos as we do, and therefore, the cost will be minimal".
Organised by Huntingdon Town Council, this year's event runs from 11am to 3pm and features a wide range of free activities and attractions.

Some of the event highlights include several inflatable bouncy castles, a soft play zone for toddlers, arts and crafts, a penalty shootout, hook a duck, face painting, a treasure trail, and children can even meet a variety of farm animals.
For those seeking relaxation, people are encouraged to bring a blanket, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy live music throughout the day.
When hunger strikes, the Diamond Hampers will be on hand to provide delicious and affordable food options, including picnic bags, hot food, ice-creams, cakes, and beverages.
The organisers also have some surprises in store throughout the day and urge the public not to miss out on the "unexpected delights" awaiting them.
