Visitors braved the blistering heat on Saturday to attend the annual Godmanchester Town Show.
The event was held on September 9 at the Godmanchester Community Plant Nursery.
Organisers say there was a "very high the standard of entries" in the eight sections which make up the competition.
Visitors were able to enjoy the afternoon admiring the competition exhibits and artisan stalls, while The Huntingdon Ukulele Band created a musical backdrop for the proceedings.
The Muddy Trowel Café provided refreshments.
The event was sponsored by the College of animal Welfare, CAW.
The best in each of the classes were:
Flowers and Plants - Leonie James; Children's Section - Emelia Shaw; Floral Arrangement- Hayley Becket; Vegetables & Fruit - Daniel Becket; Jams & Preserves - Rita Harris; Photography - Alan Hooker; Handicrafts - Beverley McCallum.
Godmanchester town mayor, Cllr Alan Hooker had the difficult task of choosing his favourite from these for the title and shield for Best Entry in the Show which went to Beverley McCallum.
Having announced and rewarded the winners of the day the mayor gathered together and thanked the new committee who had organised the event namely: chair- Helen Lawrence, committee: Lisa Philbrick, Rosemary Smith, Cathryn Hudson, Mark Brandon, Charlotte Underwood and Peter Rogers. Helen then thanked all the volunteers who where available on the day.
