A man has been charged with the relatively new offence of upskirting after he was arrested on the Market Square in Cambridge.
On Friday (September 8) neighbourhood police officers on patrol in plain clothes arrested and charged the man with three counts of recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent (upskirting).
Rick Sivier, 62, of Warren Road, Cambridge, appeared at Peterborough Magistrates' Court on Monday where he pleaded guilty to all offences.
He’s been bailed with conditions not to be in possession of any device capable of recording an image in a public place. Sentencing is due to take place next month on October 17.
