A fundraiser has been launched for the soon-to-be-redundant staff of Wilko in Huntingdon to have a leaving do.
The GoFundMe, which was set up amid the closure of the company's stores across the country, has already beaten its initial £250 target.
Several businesses have also offered to help out already: The Monatgu Club have given them a venue, Rob Bradshaw is going to DJ, and Natural Play Company are providing balloons and decorations.
Cards Direct are also supplying balloons, Sam and Ross’ Bakery are on cake duty and Cherie Peacock Cake Food will be organising platters.
Baylee Bishop said: "I am (was) the party/celebration planner for our store.
"As you will know our store will be closing down next month and my whole team is being made redundant.

"Our team is like a family - some of us have worked here for 23+ years together.
"So I would like to plan a fantastic last day to remember so we can celebrate the good in an awful situation.
"As a lot of us are still searching for new jobs or worried about how we will pay our bills, I thought I’d set this up so nobody misses out on a farewell do as I will bring it to them!
"I wouldn’t want anyone to miss out because they are scared they can’t afford it.
"Any donations we would be grateful for, if any local businesses would like to donate anything (cakes/balloons etc) we would also gladly accept."
