A Huntingdon woman will brave the shave for charity in memory of her sister.
Barbara Kidman will be having her head shaved to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
She has set a fundraising goal of £300 ahead of the shave, which takes place on Friday October 13.
"It will be six years to the day since my sister, Sandra, lost her battle with secondary cancer," Barbara said, adding that "she was only 53".
Barbara, who has been working on the pharmacy counter at Boots in High Street for more than a year, will be collecting while at work.
She will be wearing a t-shirt with photos of her sister and family saying 'I braved the shave for Macmillan and my Big sis'.
She added: "As a company, Boots have Macmillan as their chosen charity.
"So, when customers buy a carrier bag, the money goes to charity, and we also have collection boxes on the tills."
"I have an online JustGiving page if anyone would be kind enough to sponsor me."
