A drug dealer who took selfies with his home-grown cannabis and a robber who sprayed his victims with an unknown substance were among those put behind bars last month.
Here is a round-up of some of the people jailed or sentenced across Huntingdonshire in September.
Derek Waters
The St Ives resident was jailed after he was stopped by Cambridgeshire Police for driving without a licence in September 2020 and was caught with £980 in cash, a mobile phone and cannabis.
Police then searched Derek Waters' home, which showed signs there had previously been a cannabis farm in his loft.
His phone was also found to have 317 photos under the album 'grow', including selfies of himself with the cannabis.
Police then searched his home again in November 2020 and seized a further £855 in cash and more than £3,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis.
Waters, 36, appeared at Cambridge Crown Court on September 21, 2023, and was sentenced to three years and nine months in prison.
Luke Rox
The 30-year-old from Hartford targeted a couple on St Neots High Street on October 2 last year and sprayed them with an unknown substance before reaching into his waistband and saying, "It's knife time".
The male victim punched Luke Rox in the face, causing his nose to bleed over his coat, and although Rox made his escape, police found the blood was a direct DNA match to him.
Rox was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court on September 14 to four years and seven months in prison.
Ryan Leicester
The drink-driving drug dealer from Little Paxton was caught after the investigating detective said he "drew attention to himself" when he attempted to carry his motorcycle down the road.
Ryan Leicester, 36, blew 77 at the roadside, more than twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes per 100 millilitres of breath.
A subsequent search then revealed he had £1,940 in cash as well as cannabis and cocaine, leading to him being sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for ton counts of possession with intent to supply class A and class B drugs.
Jack Banyard
The 32-year-old was jailed for 18 months on September 26 at Peterborough Crown Court after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and breaching his suspended sentence.
Officers began following Jack Banyard, who was driving a Jaguar X-Type, at the Godmanchester junction on the A14 westbound at Swavesey when he started driving up to 80mph through villages to evade them.
A traffic officer successfully stung the vehicle's tyres, but he continued until an officer made tactical contact to stop the Jaguar and Banyard was arrested.
Luke McAllister
Luke McAllister was sentenced to four months in prison on September 6 after pleading guilty to burglary, fraud by false representation and obstructing a constable.
The 35-year-old was working on a separate construction in Godmanchester and trespassed onto the plot, took a wallet and charging unit, and then attempted to purchase a packet of cigarettes from a nearby petrol station.
The card was declined, and the victim was notified of the failed transaction on his phone and got a description of McAllister from the garage.
The victim called the police, and when police arrived, McAllister attempted to hide in some brambles.
