More than 30 junior swimmers from St Ives Swimming Club (SISC) picked up an incredible 89 medals at the March Marlins Autumn Challenge swim meet.
The club travelled to Whittlesey on Sunday, October 15, for the meet, where club lifetime best swim times were also achieved, and county qualifying times were made.
Thirty-one gold, 24 silver and 29 bronze medals were won across all the St Ives swimmers during the fast and frenetic day of competition, with competitors from St Ives, Huntingdon, Chatteris, March, City of Peterborough, City of Cambridge and Maxwell all competing against each other.
Bertie Titheridge won Top Boy in the 12-year age group with three gold and four silver medals, whilst Sian Woods won five gold medals and Matt Lynch won four gold and one silver medal to also win the Top Female and Top Male swimmer category in their Open Age groups.

A spokesperson from March Marlins Swimming Club said: "As usual, swimmers made their clubs proud with their supportive and encouraging attitudes toward each other.
"Thank you to all coaches and team manager; the swimmers could not be there without you."
