St Neots Hockey Club recorded a mixed set of results over the weekend, with the Women's 1s extending their stay at the top of the league but the Men's 1s suffering defeat.
The Women's 1s returned to winning ways a week after their 100 per cent league record ended with a draw by comfortably defeating Cambridge University 3s 4-1.
The Saints started quickly with two early goals from Marie Quintilla, putting them in control.
Ruby Lane added a third before the university clawed one back before the break from a short corner.
Saints regained their three-goal lead after Ella Roberts scored from a short corner, and despite going down to ten players late on through injury, they held on to remain unbeaten this season.

The Men's 1s lost for the second successive home game as they were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Long Sutton.
Despite missing some regular players, the Saints started strongly but conceded mid-way through the first half against the run of play.
The Saints began to grow frustrated and tried to put pressure on in the final third after the break but conceded from a counter-attack to go two goals down.
Phil McMorris converted a penalty flick to give the hosts hope, but they missed a couple of short corners at the end to hand Long Sutton all three points.
Elsewhere, the Men's 2s and 3s both picked up important wins, the women's 3s earned a brilliant 1-1 draw, but the women's 2s and 4s, playing with only 10 players, suffered defeat.
