Two towns and one village in Huntingdonshire have been named among the best places to live in England and Cambridgeshire for 2024, according to Muddy Stilettos.
The acclaimed lifestyle website creates a list of the 'best places to live' every year and included St Ives, Godmanchester and Buckden in its Top 260 Places to Live series.
The 260 villages, towns and cities included from across 28 counties have been rated on their nearby attractions, shops, house prices, cultures, and other factors.
The three Huntingdonshire areas were included in the top 10 best places to live in the whole of Cambridgeshire.

Huntingdonshire's three best places to live
St Ives
Muddy Stilettos called St Ives a "lovely little town in Cambridgeshire" and highlighted the River Great Ouse as a big part of life in town, with plenty of independent shops and a busy market adding to its attraction.
The National Trust's Houghton Mill and Waterclose Meadows were described as "a wonderful place for a waterside walk", and the town was praised for its "good community vibe".

St Ives was also noted for its nearby riverside restaurants and regular events, including St Ives Carnival and Music Festival, Picnic in the Park at Warners Park and "a fabulous illuminated boat parade."
Godmanchester
Godmanchester was described as a "gorgeous setting" with country walks in every direction, good value houses and superb commuter links.
Muddy Stilettos explained that the lovely riverside setting, "eye-catching Chinese Bridge," and "stunning countryside walks" helped the picturesque town stand out.
Although Godmanchester isn't a shopping destination, Huntingdon is nearby, and the River Great Ouse acts as the town's main attraction, with people able to hire canoes, kayaks and boats, and some houses with their own moorings.
Muddy Stilettos added: "You won't be spoilt for choice when it comes to theatre, cinema and exhibitions here."
Buckden
"Buckden ticks all the boxes when it comes to village living – pretty houses, gorgeous countryside and friendly community, but just 10 minutes from bustling St Neots and Huntingdon," said Muddy Stiletto's website.
Buckden was described as giving people the best of both worlds: an idyllic rural life with plenty of shops, clothing boutiques and local amenities, meaning people don't always have to jump in a car when they need something.

The village's own marina was labelled "the icing on the cake" for the village's inclusion in the list of the best places to live, with the "stunning church" and "magnificent" Buckden Towers helping make Buckden a no-brainer to feature.
