Two fire crews spent almost three hours tackling a fuel leak at a supermarket petrol station in St Ives yesterday (Thursday October 26).
Fire crews and two fire engines were called to Morrisons Petrol Station on Parsons Green just after 12pm to reports of a fuel leak.
Firefighters put a safety cordon around the area while crews worked with staff to isolate a leak and remove a vehicle from the area to ensure it was safe.
Members of the public reported online that all access to Morrisons car park for the supermarket was blocked off, and cars could only exit and not enter whilst crews dealt with the leak.
