There will be huge array of festive entertainment at Eaton Socon Cricket Club on Sunday for the club's first-ever Christmas Market.
The event at the Terry Day Cricket Ground on Sunday, December 3, starts at 10am and visitors can enjoy stalls, entertainment, food and drinks - all which will appeal to the whole family.
With more than 25 local vendors, there will be something for everyone, including cakes, coffee, hand-made Christmas wreaths, ciders, holistic and pamper products, wax melts, hair bows, children’s clothes, Christmas crafts, home-made fudge, stocking fillers, reindeer food, hot chocolate cones and dog toys, as well as some 'snow'.
Entertainment on the day, includes the Stageworks Academy and Envy Flow, a hoola-hoop performer; 'Ana' and 'Elsa' and 'Spiderman'.
There will also be a Santa’s grotto, however, you may need to keep an eye out for someone who is not full of the Christmas spirit as 'The Grinch' may try to ruin the festive fun.
In addition to this, there will be face-painting, temporary tattoos, a lucky dip, a wishing tree, name the bear competition, a 100 square with cash prize and a fantastic festive raffle.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite, there will be numerous food and drink options.
There will be a charcoal grill serving Turkish cuisine, a gourmet pizza trailer, an American style pancake trailer; and hot mulled cider will be available.
The club kitchen will also be selling jacket potatoes with various toppings, hot drinks, deluxe hot chocolate, boozy hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies.
The clubhouse bar will be open from 11am serving draught beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks.
The Christmas market will be held at The Terry Day Cricket Ground, Peppercorn Lane and will run from 10am – 3pm.
