The Mayor of Huntingdon joined the neighbourhood watch association for its recent Christmas coffee afternoon.

The Huntingdonshire Neighbourhood Watch Association also asked Cllr Phil Pearce to draw the raffle tickets and present prizes to the winners.

And there was plenty of festive cheer while everyone enjoyed coffee and mince pies – and the get-together raised £102.50.

Hotel Chocolat, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and M&S were among the high street retailers to donate prizes for the event.

The coffee afternoon was held on December 2 at the Trinity Free Church, in Huntingdon.

The Huntingdonshire Neighbourhood Watch Association was formed in November 2022 and looks after more than 230 neighbourhood watch schemes within the district.
