Three teenagers were arrested after reports of passengers being threatened and robbed whilst on a busy Cambridgeshire train.
The robberies began at 3:15pm on January 19, and carried on past midnight into January 20.
A group of five teenagers, described as being between the ages of 14 and 17 with Irish accents, were seen taking trains along the line between Broxbourne and Cambridge.
On the train, they were threatening and robbing passengers. There have been three arrested in connection with these incidents.
British Transport Police officers believe that many passengers witnessed the robberies or were victims.
They also believe that some passengers may victims to additional crimes not yet reported.
