The ever-popular From The Jam returned to the Cambridge Corn Exchange as part of their 'All Mod Cons 45th anniversary tour' on Saturday.
The iconic 'All Mod Cons' was The Jam's third album, where the New Wave edge of the first two albums started to combine with a more melodic Mod Pop feel, creating a true masterpiece.
From The Jam were formed in 2006 when former Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, joined forces with ex Jam drummer Rick Buckler (since left) and frontman Russell Hastings, ensuring fans continue to hear all of their favourites live.
From the Jam performed to their usual high standards, delivering an energetic set which included the album in full and moving into a selection of Jam classics.
From their opening, which was the title track from the album, they belted out a fabulous set which the sell-out crowd lapped up.
With Foxton banging out his legendary bass lines and Hastings on lead guitar delivering his own brilliant vocals, it's so easy to understand why they perform worldwide to sell out crowds.
They fly out to Australia for a short spell Down Under before return to complete the UK leg of the tour in March - with regional dates in Peterborough and Norwich on the schedule.
