School children in Godmanchester have all received a box of seeds from the Town Council to plant during half-term.
Godmanchester Town Council's latest campaign 'Biodiversity Awareness for All', saw the Mayor of Godmanchester, Cllr Alan Hooker, give out boxes of seeds to all pupils in the town.
The seed boxes were presented by Cllr Hooker at the local school assemblies during the last week of term.
The project gives the children the chance to sow seeds during the half-term holiday and pledge to be "eco warriors".

The Godmanchester Community Association has decided to return the once-annual, children's drawing and colouring competition.
Chairman Stephen Spencer has encouraged the children to get involved in the colouring and naming of a cartoon butterfly, as well as separately drawing a new species of butterfly from their imagination, or of their garden when the wildflowers have grown.
A selection of the most imaginative will be reproduced in the Associations 'BRIDGE MAGAZINE', which is delivered to all households in Godmanchester in June.
