The public inquiry into the Envar incinerator in Woodhurst closes today (March 1).
The inquiry, held at New Shire Hall, is looking into an appeal launched by local company, Envar, after a planning application to build an incinerator was refused.
Envar want to build a medical waste incinerator in the small village of Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
However, Cambridgeshire County Council refused the planning application in 2023.

This has triggered an eight day public inquiry, which will come to a close today.
During the inquiry, the protest group, People Opposing Woodhurst Incinerator (POWI), have been made their voices heard.
Ahead of the final day Jo Mackintosh, from POWI, said: "The closing session promises to provide critical insights and conclusions drawn from the extensive discussions and evidence presented through the inquiry."
The final meeting will be held in the Red Kite Room at Cambridgeshire County Council's New Shire Hall in Huntingdon.
It will run from 10am to 1pm, and will be livestreamed on Cambridgeshire County Council's YouTube channel.
