The Royal Oak in Hail Weston scored a big win at the National Pub and Bar Awards.
The pub has been crowned as the Cambridgeshire Pub and Bar of the Year.
The title was decided after judges looked at the overall best practice of the pub across a number of categories.
Now, The Royal Oak will be officially crowned as Cambridgeshire's best at a red carpet celebration in London on June 26.
Dawn Isaac, the manager at The Royal Oak, had this to say about the pub's win:
"A local village pub like ours needs to be everything to everybody; a community hub, a place to entertain friends, dog-friendly, family-friendly, somewhere to go for a great night out or just relax with a quiet drink over lunch.
"Getting all that right requires an awful lot of hard work so I'm delighted that this award has recognised the efforts made by the whole team to make The Royal Oak such a special place to visit."
The pub has been in Hail Weston for over 200 years, and originally served as a place for auctions, inquests, and a rent collection spot for the Lord of Hail Weston.
John and Frances Gilbert ran The Royal Oak in the 19th century, and since then it has been the village pub.
The Hail Weston community has supported The Royal Oak throughout its history, and now it has been recognised regionally by the National Pub and Bar Awards group.
