Six men have been found in the back of a lorry travelling from France.
Police received a dropped 999 call from an individual struggling to breathe in the trailer of an articulated lorry travelling on the M11 into Cambridgeshire.
The caller is understood to have ended which prompted Cambridgeshire Constabulary's control room to utilise GoodSAM.
Police officers were able to catch up with the moving lorry on the A142 between Ely and Soham.
GoodSAM is a video streaming platform allows callers to share video and a GPS location from smartphones when calling 999 to ask for help.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: "Six men were found in the trailer, having travelled from France earlier in the morning.
"They were all checked over by our colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust before being taken into our custody in relation to immigration offences which has since been passed to the UK Border Agency for investigation."
