Local groups in Huntingdonshire can apply for grants of up to £2,500 from Huntingdonshire District Council.
Applications for the grants open on Wednesday, May 15, and will provide funding of £500 to £2,500 to allow groups to put on events or activities such as - improving physical and mental health, protecting and supporting the environment, and celebrating the sense of history and place.
The grants will be available for initiatives that support the Huntingdonshire Futures Place Strategy, which aims to make Huntingdonshire a better place to live, work and visit over the next 30 years.

Michelle Sacks, Chief Executive of Huntingdonshire District Council, said: "To coincide with Huntingdonshire Day 2024, we are excited to announce that we will be providing additional funding to the Community Chest grant scheme that will support our Huntingdonshire Futures Place Strategy."
Any local groups who are interested in applying for a grant are advised to check back with Huntingdonshire District Council closer to May 15.
