The much-loved village sign in Hartford is back after undergoing refurbishment by a specialist craftsman.
The village's Conservation Group was wound up last year but the charity's remaining funds are being used for initiatives which are beneficial to the village.
The sign had decay in the wood and the paintwork was faded and looking shabby.
Thanks to the efforts of Glyn Mould of the Sacrewell Farm, Thornaugh, the sign has been restored to its original glory having last been refurbished by him in 2008.
It features All Saints Church, the16th century Manor House and cows in the shade of riverside willows.
