A new council grant scheme for Huntingdonshire organisations has been launched.
The initiative, instigated by Huntingdonshire District Council, will support nearby groups and the advancement of the Huntingdonshire Futures Place Strategy.
The award offered will range between £500 to £2,500, aimed to drive initiatives that benefit the community in line with the vision set out in the Futures Place Strategy.
Beneficiaries are likely to be projects that enhance physical and mental health, environmental endeavours, and those that promote Huntingdonshire heritage.
Cllr Sarah Conboy, executive leader of Huntingdonshire District Council, shared her anticipation about the scheme: “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary as a council, we are excited to announce that we will be providing additional funding that will support our Huntingdonshire Futures Place Strategy.
“We are committed to actively supporting community initiatives that enrich the lives of residents and I am excited to see the positive impacts we can create together.”
