A 39-year-old man has admitted to making hundreds of indecent photographs of a child.
Mathew Cooksey, of Somersham, has appeared in court on three charges related to making images deemed Category A, Category B and Category C in their nature.
Category A being the most severe.
The charges state that Cooksey made 356 Category A images, 225 Category B images and 733 Category C images on or before October 26, 2022.
The courts service says he entered a guilty plea when he appeared before Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on May 9, 2024.
His case was then referred to Cambridge Crown Court for a hearing on June 10.
