A popular play area in Huntingdon has been targeted by vandals.
The Pond Close Play Area, also known as the Glades, was reported as vandalised during a routine inspection.
Huntingdon Town Council's Estate Services team discovered significant damage to the matting in the play area.
The matting that was removed was found laying on the grass adjacent to the play area, and it could not be repaired.

The Estate Services team are now looking at how much the repair will cost, and are attempting to get it done a quickly as possible.
Huntingdon Town Council have confirmed that the area is safe to use, but the matting is uneven in certain places.
A spokesperson from Huntingdon Town Council said: "If you see or hear vandalism occurring, please call the police on 101 to report this.
